The Green Circular Introduction

The Green Circular is a path route around the periphery of Carnoustie, freely available for all to use.

Most of it is along the seafront and in countryside settings. It links them together and encourages us all to walk and run more in the beautiful landscapes that surround our town.

The route is slightly over 11 kilometres in length. This would take somewhere around 2.5 hours to walk (depending on personal abilities). It can easily be accessed from numerous points around town and can be tackled in smaller ‘bite-sized chunks’.

Follow the 50 branded way-markers to stay on the Green Circular. Each one is numbered to make it easier for you to meet up with your friends when you go for walks or runs.

These markers are augmented by lecterns telling stories about what you will see on your walk.

Enjoy!

The Carnoustie Green Circular was funded by Seagreen Wind Energy and created by the Carnoustie Community Development Trust.
